[Story] The Life of Examinations of a 17 year-old. (Tony’s diary)

Thursday, August 17th (Tony’s diary)

Well, I am 17, and I found myself in the position under the huge stress of exams before I noticed. If I hadn’t changed my phone to Haptic Palm – the phone that proved academically useful to me – then my phone would have been in my mother’s closet by now. My SAT exam is in 7 days. In other words, my life depends on the next 7 days. It’s pretty funny how I think the exam’s going to determine my life.

Anyhow, nothing changes the fact that I want to do well in this exam. My teacher instructed me that I have enough knowledge to do well, but I lack a bit of practice.

Practice! That’s what I need! In practice tests, I always panicked and missed a few questions. Now, all I need is a legitimate motivation and a testing environment.

Right then, the fact that Haptic Palm had the ideal timer went through my brain. I accessed it, and set the timer so that it informed me how much time I have left, and set off the alarm when the time is up.

Haptic Timer

Especially to students, and other people who wish to do something that involve limited time, Haptic Timer will provide the most ideal condition. Usually, people forget when they start and when they end; such flaw renders the purpose of the ‘practice’ obsolete. Therefore, Haptic Timer, by alarming the users of its start, ending time, and the near ending times, creates the perfect ‘timed’ situations.

Thanks to Haptic Timer, I could finish the practice test in a great condition. The result was below my expectations – I realized that in test conditions, I need to improve on time management and self-control. If I didn’t take the practice test in this condition, I might not have figured this out.\

Now, I recorded my score and my target score on my phone, and placed it on the main page of my phone. This way, I can constantly be reminded of where I am, and where I am heading.

Buzz…

I shrieked as the phone gave a violent vibration. I checked the screen, and it said D-7 SAT in big bold letters. Oh lord, now I know how close the exam is. I hope Haptic Palm helps me in keeping my alertness uptight. Wish me luck!
